Kids.
There we go! Now we're on track.
As I was saying:
Kids: The most cruel and vicious of nature's creation.
Oh sure, every parent thinks their baby is beautiful and precious, and they all think their children are sweet, special and say the most adorable things. What further proof do you need of evil intent than this obvious mind-control, considering the facts?
Of all the pleasure mankind derives from tormenting their fellow man, nowhere is this as prolific as with children. They mock their peers, they taunt and tease, ostracize and invent demeaning songs.
The instinct to cull the weakest of their herd runs strong in this soul-less brood, for when they sense weakness in one of their numbers, any chance for this one to enjoy life and be left in peace is at an end.
Now that you know, be careful not to let it show.
Enjoy.. while you can...

This has been an A-Z Challenge post.
For the month of April there will be an update for each letter within the theme of: Things that influence and inspire me, or the converse: things which I find distressing or make me want to rail at the world.
Some of these will pertain to the miniatures hobby, but many will venture off to atypical territory for the duration of the challenge, then it will be back to normal with mostly minis and an occasional blithering.
You can find out more about the A-Z challenge my clicking the logo at the top left of the page.
Adorable, fun, playful. Oh wait, not these kids... let's try that again:

Seeing his friends coming, this kid elects to get his tormenting over with by doing it himself.
The young of other species play rough with each other, but only with humans do you see bullying and tormenting reach sadistic levels with the calm passivity of the sociopath. Creating their own private worlds, with their own exclusionary rules: "girls not allowed", "Cooties", "your clothes are poor", "your father trades sex for meth." You've heard them all before.
There is apparently even a planet where there are only kids, none others are allowed...
Not even Klingons go there- they're too afraid!
And they should be afraid!
And they should be afraid!
Kids aren't just cruel, they are creepy. They know you are older, and that you will die first.
You can see it in their eyes... they are waiting.
They watch, and they wait. Their cruelty honed, practiced in the art of subjugating their kind to their will. You can see it in their eyes... they are waiting.
Now that you know, be careful not to let it show.
Enjoy.. while you can...

Brilliant! Very, very creepy.
ReplyDeleteI hate the little gits with their false smiles and devious plots!
ReplyDeleteHeh.. and to think that they can control us even before they begin to speak! Very suspicious indeed..
ReplyDeleteOh god, now I'm officially scared. You make me want to stay away from children. Damien (The Omen) was the creepiest kid of them all.
ReplyDeleteSome of us never grow up. Bwa ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHere is the scary thing, I know all that and still choose to have 6 children. I will perpetuate my own brand of evil over yours. :) Eventually one of my progeny will rule some country or the world. My 8yo is already planning for world domination openly, sadly it will probably one of his younger siblings that will see the fruition of his plans, because he is not secretive enough.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly the kind of creepy "I know not the meaning of mercy or pity" expression that comes overs Right Stuff when he plays Bloodbowl!
