Seems there is an 'Old Stuff Day' going around. I haven't been at this blogging long enough to have anticipated it, but I do like the sound of it. I've also been very sick the last two days, so not much new to show, so why not dig into the folders for something old?
I don't have any pictures of the truly old stuff I painted... the first few D&D minis I painted when I had 10 colors and 2 brushes, or the Dark Elf army which was my first project, or the Bretonnians and Wood Elves that followed.
I painted this 5 years ago, so that seems pretty old in any case. I really do love making beat up ork trukks, shame I haven't had time or cause to do any since then. This was one of my favorites.

Grinding away with a dremel... good times!

Looks like this started life as a 41 Merc or Ford woody wagon. Damn nice work.
I love old cars. And that is some awesome work.
Really like it, thanks for showing it.
Really nicely done old though it is. Just shows what you can do with bits and bobs
Great work, I could imagine an orc with a massive turret gun in the back!
Absolutely spiffing! Brilliant work Sir! Like you I had never heard of 'old stuff day' so somewhat missed the boat; oh well there is always next year! Have a great weekend and get well soon.
Actually stands the test of time rather nicely! I love the girder on the front :)
Thanks everyone!
Working on Ork conversions is probably my favorite thing. It's just so cathartic to create and destroy in the same action.
